City Offices Closed for Veteran's Day - Tues., November 11

In observance of Veterans Day, all City of Newberry government offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Emergency services will remain available as usual.

Customers wishing to make a bill payment during the holiday may do so through the City’s telephone system at 352-472-2161 or online [insert payment link]. As always, you can contact us 24/7 for any City-related needs at 352-472-2161. Power outages may be reported online (click here) or over the phone. 

Garbage and Recycling Collection:

The holiday will not affect curbside residential solid waste and recycling collection services scheduled for Tuesday, November 11, in the Newberry curbside collection area.

Veterans Day Tribute:
The community is invited to join us for a Veterans Day Tribute at the Veterans Memorial in Lois Forte Park at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11. This annual event honors the brave men and women who have served our nation, and all are welcome to attend.
