Facilities Department

City of Newberry's Facilities Department is dedicated to providing a high level of maintenance and support to the buildings within the City's infrastructure and the departments who occupy them. Our maintenance and support services include routine and preventative building maintenance, custodial services, grounds maintenance, and the management of large building improvements and small facilities capital improvement projects. The Facilities Department is responsible for approximately 53,000 square foot of facilities throughout the City of Newberry.


Facility Rentals

The City of Newberry has numerous rental opportunities available. So whether you are having a company gathering, training session, family reunion, wedding reception, birthday party, or sporting event, we have a space for you. The City of Newberry owns and maintains a variety of facilities that serve to enhance the quality of life in the Newberry community. Many of the (indoor/outdoor) facilities are utilized for a variety of events and programs from neighborhood meetings, family reunions and sports to social functions, performances, weddings and business conferences. Governmental entities, 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations and non-commercial, community-based groups are invited to apply and reserve space. 

Please review the rental policy in its entirety. Please understand that each facility is rented daily. For each day you want access to the facility, you must reserve that day as well as the day of your event. Each day ends at 12 midnight. If you have questions related to your time of rental, please reach out to us prior to your event for clarification. 

Online Facility Reservation

To reserve a rental facility online, you will utilize our RecDesk program. Prior to selecting the facility you would like to reserve, you will be prompted to create an account. You will use this account for all future reservations through the RecDesk program. When submitting your request, it will go to the Facilities Department, where they will process the request and approve. In addition to using the website, you may also use our app, Newberry Connect. The process remains the same, but with a user friendly interface for your mobile device. Please click this link below to reserve a building online:

Alternative Reservation Process

In lieu of creating an account with RecDesk, you may complete the Facility Rental Form below and return it to the Easton Newberry Sports Complex at 24880 NW 16th Ave or email it to Kim Willson at kwillson@newberryfl.gov. Please indicate which facility you would like to rent, along with the dates at the top of the form. Please note, the Facility Rental Form must be completed in full to process the rental request. Please note, if your rental request is taken over the phone, your request will be held for ten calendar days. If a signed rental agreement is not received within that time period, your reservation will be removed from the calendar. This includes a signature, date, and printed name. Reservations are not confirmed until the appropriate deposits have been received.

Pavilion Rentals

The City of Newberry offers a variety of pavilions for your use. These spaces are great for family gatherings, birthday parties, and more. Park pavilions are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage guests who would like to use a pavilion get there early and set up for their event. Bounce houses and moonwalks are permitted only with proof of liability insurance naming the City of Newberry as additionally insured and must be presented to the City of Newberry Parks & Recreation Department prior to installation of the unit. 

Park, Gymnasium, and Sports Field Rentals

The City of Newberry offers a variety of parks and play spaces for your use. These spaces are great for sporting events and family gatherings. To reserve a sports field or sports facility, please complete the Park Rental Request Form below and return it to the Easton Newberry Sports Complex at 24880 NW 16th Ave or email it to Kim Willson at kwillson@newberryfl.gov. As we know each individual event is different, please don't hesitate to reach out to our staff to discuss.
