Voter Registration Book Closing Date for Newberry City Commission Elections

What is Book Closing?

Twenty-nine days before an election, the voter registration books are closed for that election. A person must be registered by that deadline in order to be eligible to vote in the election.

Note that the Newberry Branch Library (110 South Seaboard Drive, Newberry) is a "Designated Voter Registration Agency." Completed voter registration application forms may be dropped off at this location.
