Burn Ban Extended Through April 10 in Alachua County

Alachua County, FL – The countywide burn ban has been extended through April 10, 2026.

With no appreciable rainfall over the past week, KBDI levels across the county have increased, and the threat of wildfire remains high.

All unpermitted and non-exempt outdoor burning continues to be prohibited. Residents are urged to follow the burn ban to help protect the community and reduce wildfire risk.
