The Hemp Industries Association of Florida Presents: the Industrial Hemp road Tour 2019 - FREE

The Florida chapter of the Hemp Industries Association is proud to announce a statewide road tour that will provide informational workshops and presentations to the community surrounding the growing opportunities within the burgeoning industrial hemp industry.

The five-stop road tour includes events in:

South Florida (August 22): Bailey Contemporary Arts in Pompano Beach
Jasper (August 29): UF/IFAS Extension - Hamilton County
Clermont (September 12): The Moose Lodge
Newberry (September 17): Newberry Municipal Building
Tallahassee (September 19): HIAF Headquarters

These free public events will convene local farmers, professionals and government leaders to share their ideas and insights on the hemp industry and how best to address the growing demand. Those organizations and individuals interested in joining the hemp industry will also have the opportunity to learn more about becoming a part of a national trade association with access to critical resources and industry-leading experts.

The Hemp Industries Association of Florida (“HIAF”) is the official state charter of the National Hemp Industries Association, which that has been fighting for fair hemp legislation for 25 years. The HIAF is a 501(c)(6) non-profit trade association dedicated to cultivating a friendly business environment and supporting the commercialization of hemp for a wide variety of wellness and sustainable alternative products. This includes providing education, training and a reliable network of industry players to make Florida the national leader in the hemp industry. The HIAF will always strive to have a strong voice on Florida’s Capitol Hill to ensure that no part of the industry or its participants go unheard.
