Newberry Annual Juneteenth Celebration

Join the Concerned Citizens of Newberry, with sponsorship support from the City of Newberry, for a day of remembrance, celebration, and community at the Annual Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Freddie Warmack Park.

Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and serves as a time to honor the resilience, achievements, and contributions of Black Americans throughout our nation's history. This annual celebration brings our community together to reflect on the past, celebrate the present, and look forward to a brighter future.

Enjoy a day filled with live entertainment, music, food, fellowship, family-friendly activities, and community pride as we celebrate freedom and the rich cultural heritage that helps make Newberry such a special place to call home. Everyone is welcome to come together for this meaningful and joyful community tradition.
