Road Closure for Resurfacing Project

ROAD CLOSURES: Please be aware that starting on July 8th portions of SW 4th Ave, SW 5th Ave, SW 7th Ave, and SW 254th Street will be closed to general traffic due to a road resurfacing project. Improvements will include repairing the road bases, milling and resurfacing the roadways, enhancing storm water drainage, and paving SW 4th Ave. 

Road closures are indicated in red on the map.

This project is funded in the City's Capital Improvement Plan as part of the Annual Road Resurfacing Program. This program is primarily paid for with local gas taxes. The City has paved several roads in the last few years using these gas tax funds including Newberry Lane, SW 257th Street, SW 258th Street, and SW 1st Avenue.
